HIGHLAND PARK

Deadline for the Fall League registration is August 6, 2017 at 11:59pm.

 

Option 1:  The upfront cost will be $300, however the bar will reimburse your team $150.00 individually. This will require the team to attend the bar or restaurant after each game night.  Additionally the team captain or a representative will be required to meet with the bar prior to the start of the season to get a sponsorship contract signed and 50% of the league fees ($150). 

 

At times our sponsors elect to reimburse through Gift Card!!  This makes it easier to go out and have a drink afterwards, oh and don’t forget about the specials!!

 

 

Option 2:  Team pays $300 for their team of 4-6.  There is no post game bar requirement.  Play Bocce then head on home.

Additional Details!

 

Team Structure:  Teams will consist of 4 to 6 players. Teams must have a minimum of 4 players playing at one time. Teams of 1, 2 or 3 will be forced to forfeit that night's game. Teams are encouraged to be co-ed!  If you are in need of a larger team please submit your request to us via email.

 

Start Date: The season will start on Wednesday, August 9th. The season will run 7 weeks including the playoffs and championship! 

Rain Dates: Games will be made up the following week and will be played in addition to that week's game. 

Location: Highland Park at S. Goodman Street, same location as the Fall 2017 season.

Game Times: Wednesday nights starting at 6 pm

 

Game Play:  We play a total of 7 weeks on Wednesday nights or 10 weeks on Thursday nights. Each week your 4-6 player team will be randomly matched up with an opponent. You will play the best of 3 games. Each week 3 points will be awarded. For example, if you win the first game (played up to 10points) you will be awarded 1 point and you will play another game. If you win the second game you have won the best of 3 and will be awarded 3 points and your opponent will receive a goose egg. If you win the first round and lose the second, you will play a 3rd round (sudden death) up to 5 points. If you win that round you will receive a total of 2 points and your opponent will receive 1 point. At the end of week 6 all of the points are totaled up and the top 14 teams will make the playoffs. Your total points will determine your rank in the final tournament bracket. The finals are structured as 1 and done. Each game will played up to 10. The final matchup is a best of 3.
